Performances in our Alternative Space Program

These shows are set in alternative spaces with the artists of Ballet BC working on improvisational and site-specific works in interdisciplinary spaces, giving the audience an intimate and experimental point of view into dance.
Live at the ‘Bolt – Small Stage with Ballet BC
The company dancers of Ballet BC and Small Stage Artistic associates team up for an amazing evening of dance. Join us as we walk around Deer Lake Park and see some amazing short works by some of Vancouver’s most talented dancers and choreographers.

Student and Community Dress Rehearsals
Ballet BC continues to invite elementary, high school students and other community organizations to its program dress rehearsal. Our goal is to provide access to dance for those who would otherwise not experience a Ballet BC performance.

Introduced by the Artistic Director and featuring special guests, the presentations offer performance highlights in the intimacy of a rehearsal setting, and include a Q&A session.
