Matching programs can turn each dollar into nine!
Ballet BC has launched a new Endowment Campaign to help secure the long-term artistic health of the company. The endowment serves as an investment in the future, providing ongoing financial security while allowing Ballet BC to create new works, attract the best artists, support education, outreach and training programs. All contributions to the Endowment Fund become part of a permanent fund that generates support for the annual operating fund through interest earned.
Thanks to two very generous donors and with the support of the provincial and federal governments, donors to the Endowment Fund can expect a 1:8 match on their gift. This very unique opportunity will only exist until November 30th, 2007.

* The BC Arts Renaissance Fund will match every dollar raised up to $350,000 in a given year.
** The Canadian Arts and Heritage Sustainability Program will match donations dependant upon the number of charities applying for matching funds. In 2006, the payout percentage was 65%.
