MOVE at Ballet BC

Get ready to MOVE! Ballet BC invites you inside its inspiring Granville Island studios to explore a variety of movement forms with a stellar faculty of instructors.

This fall, MOVE will offer classes for students of all levels in ballet, contemporary, yoga, pilates, tango, as well as a creative immersion workshop series centred on Ballet BC repertoire.

Registration is now open! Drop-in classes begin September 11. Progressive series begin September 18.

Fall 2023 Drop-In Classes

Experience a wide variety of yoga practices in addition to all-levels ballet through our Fall 2023 MOVE drop-in sessions.

Explore the connection between mind, body, and spirit through offerings in vinyasa, hatha, restorative, gentle flow, and roll and release yoga with weekly sessions led by some of Vancouver’s most renowned instructors.

Deepen your understanding of ballet and develop your technique and artistry with an all-levels ballet led by Ballet BC company artist Kaylin Sturtevant.

With 12 once-weekly drop-in classes to choose from, there is something for everyone; no commitment required.

Fall 2023 Progressive Series

Our movement-based 12 and 6-week progressive series give you the opportunity to dive deeper into the mind body connection, and learn from some of the very best dance educators in Vancouver.

Series include beginner and intermediate ballet and contemporary dance, pilates mat, tango, and creative immersion workshops—a unique expressive arts series centred on Ballet BC repertoire that blends movement with visual arts.
