Fall 2023 Annex Tour Wrap-up
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the 2023 Ballet BC Annex tour!
This fall, more than 2000 students and educators across BC experienced professional performances of Artistic Director Medhi Walerski’s Blink of an Eye and Joseph Toonga’s Us, a brand new creation by the Cameroon-born, UK-based choreographer who is currently Resident Emerging Choreographer at The Royal Ballet.
More than 250 students were further engaged through insightful workshops hosted by our Annex dancers.
Annex provides an opportunity for young people in our province to gain and develop an understanding of dance and artistic practice, and activate their creativity and innovative thinking.
