It’s time to jump off the stage and get up close and personal with the Ballet BC Company Artists. Recently, all the dancers completed the Proust Questionnaire, a personality questionnaire made famous by French writer Marcel Proust.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? I would say being grounded in myself, and also knowing my loved ones are safe and at ease.
What is your greatest fear? Loss.
Which historical figure do you most identify with? Ruth St. Denis (modern dance pioneer)
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? I would ask only that I continue to evolve.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? That I have never doubted the calling I had all those years ago that told me to dance.
What is your most treasured possession? Material Possession: My Wedding Ring. Non-Material Possession: My movement practice.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Fear.
What is it that you most dislike? Cruelty.
How would you like to die? Peaceful and aware.
What is your motto? “Ahimsa” – Non-Violence.
