Chloé Albaret was born in France, and completed her dance studies at Ballet Junior de Genève in Switzerland. In 2010, she joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 under the direction of Gerald Tibbs and in 2013 joined NDT 1 under the direction of Paul Lightfoot. Throughout her career at NDT, she worked with numerous choreographers and makers such as Jirí Kylián, Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Marco Goecke, Crystal Pite, Hofesh Shechter, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Medhi Walerski, Franck Chartier & Gabriela Carrizo to name a few. In 2019, Chloé was nominated for the prestigious Zwaan Dutch dance award for “most impressive dance performance” and in 2020, won the prize for the same category. After leaving NDT in 2022, Chloé began her career as a freelancer, continuing as a dancer but also working as a rehearsal director as well as developing her own workshops and teaching methods.
