Denae Harpham (She/Her) is originally from Tisdale, Saskatchewan, and began exploring all genres of dance at the age of 3. After receiving a full scholarship to dance with the Source Dance Company, Denae moved to Vancouver, where she trained under several reputable commercial dance educators. She later began to focus more heavily on contemporary dance training and soon after completed the MO link program. Denae is now heading into her final year with Modus Operandi’s Post-Secondary training program under the direction of Tiffany Tregarthen, David Raymond, Kate Franklin, and Maiko Miyauchi. During Denae’s time at Modus, she has had the opportunity to study the repertoire of Crystal Pite, Out Innerspace, Yue Yin, Spenser Theberge, and Shay Kuebler, among several others. Denae’s passion for understanding the foundations behind movement has led to her enrolment at the University of Regina, working towards completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology. Denae is beyond grateful to be joining the Ballet BC Annex Project this season.
