Dancer Éline Malègue

Éline Malègue (she/her) was born in Saint-Étienne, France. She graduated from Paris Opera Ballet School in 2007 and spent the following two years with the San Francisco Ballet Trainee program. Éline began her professional career with Victor Ullate Ballet in Madrid. In 2010, she joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal and was later promoted to demi-soloist. Over more than a decade with the company, she performed diverse repertoire across ballet, neoclassical and contemporary styles, including works by internationally renowned choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek, Mauro Bigonzetti, Marco Goecke, Edward Clug, and Marcos Morau to name a few. During her time with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens, Éline also created work for À Suivre, the company’s choreographic workshop, and performed in the Festival Quartiers Danses. Beyond dance, Éline has participated in various film and television projects, and enjoys crafts and customizing clothing.
