Nathan Allen (He/him) started dancing at Allegro Performing Arts Academy in Seattle, WA at the age of 9, where he trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Hip-Hop. Nathan attended several summer intensives including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Juilliard, Complexions, and Netherlands Dance Theater. He moved to Vancouver, BC in 2021 to attend the Arts Umbrella Post-Secondary Program, exploring works by Crystal Pite, Medhi Walerski and Jiri Kylian, among others. Nathan is extremely interested in the intersection of life discovered through dance and was named as a McCall MacBain Fellow in 2022—a scholarship given to support dancers in their journey to impact communities through cultural leadership.
