Ekaterina Kuzovkina

Ekaterina Kuzovkina (she/her) was born and raised in Moscow, Russia beginning her training in ballet and contemporary dance at the School of modern dance by Nickolay Ogryzkov. She continued her studies at Arts Umbrella’s Post Secondary Training Program under the direction of Artemis Gordon where she had the opportunity to work and perform works by Crystal Pite, Marco Goecke, William Forsythe, Fernando Hernando Magadan, Azure Barton, Ethan Colangelo, Wen Wei Wang, James Kudelka, Cyril Baldy and Lukas Timulark. Ekaterina has also participated in numerous festivals, including All-Russian Ballet Competition named after Grigorovich and took part in the 4th Season of the Russian Dance TV Show “Adults and Young Artists”. Ekaterina attended summer intensives at Orsolina 28, Ballet BC 44 Summer Intensive, ISDI, BJM_360 and Ballet Edmonton Summer Intensive. Entering her third year at Arts Umbrella, Ekaterina is excited to join Ballet BC Annex for the 2025/26 season.
