Director Rob McLeod

Rob trained as a Chartered Professional Accountant with KPMG before moving to private industry where he spent the remaining 23 years of his career with Ritchie Bros—auctioneers serving in administrative, operational and executive roles. Since retiring, Rob has been involved with several organizations as an advisor, including BC Parks Foundation and ECS Wire & Cable. Rob has also served as a director, advisor and supporter of various not for profits, including Coast Mental Health and Megaphone Magazine. In retirement Rob pursued additional education, completing the Institute of Corporate Directors program and an intensive program with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

After living and working abroad in the US and Belgium, Rob, and his wife Sarah, returned home to Vancouver. They currently live in the vibrant and eclectic neighbourhood of Kitsilano. While you seldom see Rob on a dance floor (let alone on a stage!), he is in awe of the Ballet BC professionals who are always demonstrating their physical strength in combination with their creative energy.  In addition, their commitment and ability to work as a team is a masterclass that all organizations should take a lesson from.
