Travon Carter is a dancer from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He graduated in 2026 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, where he trained across contemporary, classical, street, and interdisciplinary practices. His education cultivated a versatile artistic foundation and a deep appreciation for collaboration, curiosity, and creative exploration.

Having discovered dance later than many of his peers, Travon developed a resilient work ethic and an eagerness to learn that continue to shape his artistic journey. He is drawn to movement that is dynamic, grounded, and emotionally resonant, and values the collaborative process as a space for growth, discovery, and meaningful human connection.

Whether performing on stage or creating for film and commercial spaces, Travon approaches each opportunity with openness, discipline, and a genuine love for movement. He is excited to continue evolving as an artist while contributing to work that challenges perspectives, sparks conversation, and connects with audiences across communities. This is Travon’s first season with Ballet BC.
