Babylon Returns on August 12!

Creativity flourishes with Babylon

Saturday, August 12
6:00 – 11:00pm
Presented by The Social Concierge & Ballet BC

Inspired by one of the most legendary cities in history, a mystically inspiring event returns for its succeeding year. A visual feast brought to life with a contemporary twist.

Welcome to Babylon, where dance is the universal language.

Through the majestic gates and beyond the flourishing blossoms lives a place of magic and beauty. This summer on August 12, Babylon’s hanging gardens return for another night of revelry, imagination and fantasy.

The Social Concierge, in partnership with Ballet BC, once again transforms the iconic Queen Elizabeth Theatre Lobby and Plaza into an indoor/outdoor exhibit of stunning contemporary floral art installations inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

This returning festival will take the ballet out of the theatre and into unexpected places and open spaces on the plaza. Breaking down traditional expectations of “going to the ballet”, the event also brings a unique vision to life for a poetically interactive creation that envelops guests and engages the senses. Featuring a work from Ballet BC resident choreographer Cayetano Soto, along with a preview from the upcoming season, guests will also be able to mingle with the dancers.

Following a banner, sold-out event in 2016, we expect this year to be no different and anticipate tickets to move very quickly. Ensure your attendance to this stunning display of immersive ballet by purchasing yours today.
