It’s time to jump off the stage and get up close and personal with the Ballet BC Company Artists. Recently, all the dancers completed the Proust Questionnaire, a personality questionnaire made famous by French writer Marcel Proust.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? Christmas morning.
What is your greatest fear? Heights.
Which historical figure do you most identify with? Michael Jackson. I grew up listening to his music. Its how I got my groove.
Which living person do you most admire? My mother. Strongest woman I know.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? I’m stubborn.
On what occasion do you lie? Occasionally I lie to myself…
When and where were you happiest? Saturday mornings, when I sleep in.
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? I think about things too much…
If you could change one thing about your family what would it be? I wish we had kept our Sunday family dinners more of a tradition.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Achieving a career in something I absolutely love doing.
If you died and came back as a person or thing what do you think it would be? I think we end up going to a parallel universe. But probably a cat.
What is your most treasured possession? My music library.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? When the TV series Lost ended.
Who are your heroes in real life? My closest friends and family.
What is it that you most dislike? Dishonesty, slow walking people and tomatoes.
How would you like to die? Hopefully fulfilled.
What is your motto? “Everything happens for a reason.”
