Ballet BC Launches Young Patrons Group to Full House

Written By: Ballet BC Up Committee

Ballet BC Up officially started the 2013-14 season with a successful Launch Party on Wednesday, October 9th. The evening centred around a sneak preview of Walking Mad for 40 members and guests at the Scotiabank Dance Centre, and was followed by a networking reception at The Morrissey Pub. See more photos from the Launch Party here.

On October 19th, the closing night of Tilt, the members of Up gathered at an exclusive pre-show reception in the Mezzanine Lobby of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Everyone mingled and enjoyed sweets before watching the moving performance we had all been waiting for! See more photos from the reception here.

Ballet BC Up is a young patrons group of urban professionals aged 21-45 who are interested in exploring ballet and creating a meaningful relationship with Ballet BC.

Membership benefits include exclusive access to Ballet BC Up events including pre-show receptions, a signature networking event and a ballet class taught by Ballet BC dancers. In addition, members receive personalized ticketing service and invitations to Ballet BC events such as the annual season wrap-up party.

By being a part of this unique social circle, members can both meet other like-minded professionals, and experience the world of ballet in a completely new way!
