Emerging Artist Kailey Worontsoff

Kailey Worontsoff (she/her) was born in Long Island, New York and raised in Wellington, Florida. She began her diverse dance training at Dance Universe and continued her education at Dreyfoos School of the Arts High School. During her time at Dreyfoos, she earned recognition as a YoungArts Silver Award recipient in contemporary dance and was honored as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Following high school, Kailey was fortunate enough to move to New York and attend The Juilliard School under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack, and she will receive her BFA in dance in 2026. During her time at Juilliard, she had the opportunity to perform works by Chanel DaSilva, Hope Boykin, Pam Tanowitz, Kyle Abraham, Jose Limon, Aszure Barton, and many others. Kailey has further honed her artistry through participation in summer intensives, including Springboard Danse, Ballet BC’s 44, NDT’s Summer Intensive, Orsolina 28, Arts Umbrella, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Through these programs, she has studied and performed works by Medhi Walerski, Luca Tessarini, Crystal Pite, William Forsythe, David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen, and Sharon Eyal. Kailey is beyond excited and grateful to be joining Ballet BC as an Emerging Artist for the 2025/26 season!
