Taylor Menzies (she/her) grew up in Salmon Arm, BC, where she began training in tap, jazz, and ballet at the age of five. In 2023, she moved to Vancouver to train with Modus Operandi Contemporary Dance Program (MO) under the direction of Tiffany Tregarthen, David Raymond, Kate Franklin, and Maiko Miyauchi, where she will graduate in Spring 2027.

During her time at MO, Taylor has performed works by Adam Khazhmuradov, Mariko Kakizaki, Yi-Chun Liu, Vanessa Goodman, Kate Franklin, and Out Innerspace, including performances at the Vancouver International Dance Festival and the Dancing on the Edge Festival. She has also expanded her training through programs such as Orsolina28, Ballet BC Choreographic Workshops, Whim W’Him and Radical System Art. Taylor is grateful to be joining Annex for the 2026/27 season!
