Choreographic Workshop with Brandon Alley!

Each season, Ballet BC offers workshops to our local dance community – focusing on training and development opportunities for the professional dance artist. Hosted by international artists from across Canada and the world, these choreographic workshops explore diverse perspectives and approaches to the creative process, such as learning repertoire and training for contemporary dance.

Learn repertoire and explore the creative process at Ballet BC with Brandon Alley, who will be teaching excerpts of works from the Ballet BC repertoire.

A North Carolina native, Brandon Lee Alley began his dance training at the Eastern Randolph High School. He later attended the Greensboro Ballet’s year-long program on a full scholarship and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts specializing in contemporary dance in 2012. Brandon has had the pleasure of working with choreographers such as Crystal Pite and Stijn Celis, among others. He began his professional career with Hubbard Street 2 and has been a member of BODYTRAFFIC. This year will be Brandon’s 3rd season with Ballet BC.
