Choreographic Workshop with Kirsten Wicklund!

Each season, Ballet BC offers workshops to our local dance community – focusing on training and development opportunities for the professional dance artist. Hosted by international artists from across Canada and the world, these choreographic workshops explore diverse perspectives and approaches to the creative process, such as learning repertoire and training for contemporary dance.

Learn repertoire and explore the creative process at Ballet BC with company dancer Kirsten Wicklund, who will be teaching excerpts from her own choreographic compositions.

Vancouver-born Kirsten Wicklund studied at Goh Ballet Academy. She has received multiple scholarships, a Vancouver Foundation Arts Study Award, Vancouver Ballet Society’s Memorial Scholarship, and the Mary Day Artistry award at YAGP. She has danced with The Washington Ballet, Alonzo King’s choreographic workshop, Rock the Ballet, and created for Dances for a Small Stage.
