Choreographic Workshop for
Romeo + Juliet!

Each season, Ballet BC offers workshops to our local dance community – focusing on training and development opportunities for the professional dance artist. Hosted by international artists from across Canada and the world, these choreographic workshops explore diverse perspectives and approaches to the creative process, such as learning repertoire and training for contemporary dance.

Learn repertoire and explore the creative process at Ballet BC with rehearsal assistants Makaila Wallace and Sylvain Senez, who will be teaching excerpts from Romeo + Juliet by French choreographer Medhi Walerski.

Inspiring many an artist with its tragic tale of “star-crossed lovers”, Ballet BC is thrilled to have Shakespeare’s classic and iconic story expertly crafted by Medhi Walerski, one of the most original voices in international dance today and creator of the audience favourite Petite Cérémonie, Prelude and Natus.
