It is free to audition. Dancers must submit a video audition to be considered for an in-person audition. Online applications are open now until October 9, 2026.

Once applications are reviewed, dancers who are accepted to audition in person will be contacted on or before November 13, 2026.

• Vancouver, BC, Canada | November 29, 2026
• New York City, USA | December 6, 2026

Full-Time Artists

We are seeking experienced dancers who are passionate about performing in a collaborative dance environment. Candidates should have both classical and contemporary training.

• Contract: Full-time, 52-week, 31.25 hours per week, with a minimum of four weeks of paid vacation.
• Salary: Starting at CAD $868 per week, increasing based on professional experience.

Emerging Artists

We welcome dancers who have recently completed—or are in the process of completing—a professional training program. This program is ideal for those who have not worked for a professional company (unless as an apprentice).

• Contract: Full season contract, 31.25 hours per week
• Salary: Starting at CAD $655 per week

At Ballet BC, we care for our artists’ well-being and professional growth. All artists are covered by the Government of British Columbia’s Medical Services Plan (MSP) and WorkSafe BC.

We offer:
