Watch Company Class at UNITY

View company class on stage at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Saturday, May 9 during our run of UNITY.

Company class is a meaningful daily ritual for professional dancers around the world, allowing for connection with the body and exploration of technical foundation before a day of rehearsals or performance. Dancers begin with exercises at the barre, then move to the centre for exercises across the floor, and class ends with jumps—each exercise exploring areas such as precision, balance, strength, and musicality. It’s both a physical and mental practice, grounding dancers in discipline while freeing them to express themselves through individual interpretation.

For the final time during our 2025/26 season, we are inviting the general public to view class ahead of our matinee performance, taught by Medhi Walerski with accompaniment by Dr Alex Tsisserev. All tickets are $15 and general admission; seats in the orchestra will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to peek behind the curtain. We look forward to welcoming you!
