You’re invited to view company class on stage at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Saturday November 7, 2026 during our run of Bodies & Voices.

Led by Ballet BC Artistic Director Medhi Walerski, company class is a meaningful daily ritual for professional dancers around the world, allowing for connection with the body and exploration of technical foundation before a day of rehearsals or performance. Dancers begin with exercises at the barre, then move to the centre for exercises across the floor, and class ends with jumps—each exercise exploring areas such as precision, balance, strength, and musicality. It’s both a physical and mental practice, grounding dancers in discipline while freeing them to express themselves through individual interpretation.

All tickets are $15 and general admission; seats in the orchestra will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
