Join Ballet BC Manager of Education and Engagement Heather Myers for a completely unique multi-disciplinary workshop focusing on the themes of Ballet BC’s May program, DUSK. Rather than focusing on the instruction of technique or repertoire, this expressive arts series centres on themes explored within the DUSK repertoire, and the unique interpretation of individual participants.
Engage in movement, drawing, writing, self-reflection and dialogue as a meaningful way of relating to the performance, which features works by Marco Goecke, Medhi Walerski and choreographic due Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber.
This two-hour Creative Immersion workshop offers participants a way to connect dance to their own life and deepen their personal creativity.
All are welcome, open to ages 18-98. No experience necessary.
When: Monday May 5, 6pm – 8pm.
Where: Ballet BC, 1286 Cartwright St, Granville Island.
Registration is required and spots are limited—don’t miss out!
