Ballet BC works with artists who are passionate about performing in a collaborative dance environment. Admission to join Ballet BC as a company member or participate in our intensive programs is by audition only.

Ballet BC Company Auditions
Auditions for Ballet BC are by invitation only. Each year, Ballet BC seeks professional artists for the roles of Full-time Company Artist and Emerging Artist. Those who sign up for email notifications will be alerted when registration opens for the 2027/28 season.
44 Summer Intensive Auditions
Ballet BC’s 44 Summer Intensive takes place each summer across four weeks at our studios on Granville Island. Sign up for audition notifications and be the first to know when auditions open for 44 SI 2026.
Winter Intensive Auditions
Ballet BC’s 2025 Winter Intensive takes place December 20-23, 2025. Applications are now closed. Please sign up for audition notifications and be the first to know about Winter Intensive auditions in 2026.
RWB Nutcracker Youth Auditions
Each year, Ballet BC and Royal Winnipeg Ballet welcome children aged 7-15 to audition for youth roles in the RWB’s iconic production performed in Vancouver during the holiday season. Registrations for 2025 auditions are now closed. If you have any questions, please contact nutcracker@balletbc.com.
